Since my kids are still feeling under the weather, and Father’s Day is just around the corner, I thought we’d do this simple, fun craft I found on Pinterest. I had small canvases lying around, and used the kid’s non toxic sparkly paint and tempura paints for their footprints. The kids thought it was so much fun to get their feet squooshy with paint. We did it in the kitchen for easy cleanup, and I lined the floor with some newspapers. My son is 6 and my daughter, 3. I totally thought my son would think this craft was for babies, but he loooved doing it. Once the paint was dry, I drew in the butterfly head and body with a black sharpie, and the kids colored that in as well. We added some loving sentiments, and voila, Daddy has some new pieces of art to hang in his office.
